Veteran actor Jackie Shroff is stationed at his Khandala farmhouse amidst the coronavirus outbreak. The actor is unable to return to his Mumbai home because of lockdown. His wife, Ayesha Shroff, has confirmed this development. In an interview with Spotboye, Ayesha mentioned that the Parinda actor had made a quick trip to their Khandala farmhouse for some plantation and pre-monsoon work, and got stuck there. "He was there to do some new plantations and pre-monsoon work and got stuck there. But thankfully, he has his staff with him and best fresh air, space and all his own organic veggies," she said.
On being asked how she is keeping in touch with Jackie Shroff, Ayesha stated that they are in constant contact over voice and video calls. She also confirmed that the actor is in the pink of health. "He is doing absolutely fine," she added.
For the unversed, Jackie Shroff bought a farmhouse in Khandala to mark his 25th wedding anniversary with Ayesha in 2012. The actor had gifted this 2.5 acres land to his loving wife. A few years later, Jackie, who is extremely fond of gardening, built a 44,000 sq.ft garden in front of his farmhouse.
Talking about Jackie's special gift to her, Ayesha Shroff had earlier told TOI, "Jackie's gift came as a pleasant surprise; something that I won't forget ever. But now I have a task to carry out. I have a dream home in mind, which Jackie and I are going to set up in about a year and a half or two at the most. The house will have a mini theatre, basketball court, swimming pool and a state-of-the-art gymnasium. My son is so clued into gyms that I don't have to ask anyone about the equipment I need to purchase."
Meanwhile, we hope Jackie Shroff continues to stay safe at his farmhouse.
