The post mortem report of Disha Salian, Sushant Singh Rajput's ex-manager, is in at long last, and it's been verified that she had died due to fatal injuries sustained from the fall she suffered as a means to commit suicide on the intervening nights of 8th and 9th June, about a week prior to that of the actor's death. What this report also does is debunk ex-Maharashtra CM, Narayan Rane's conspiracy theory, that Disha had been allegedly raped and murdered.
As per a coy of Disha Salian's post mortem report that Indian Express managed to access, she died of “antemortem injuries sustained due to a fall from the 12th floor where she was attending a get-together with friends that evening,” while also negating any suspicion of sexual assault, thus admonishing Rane's accusations that she was probably raped and murdered, and that the Maharashtra Government was trying to save “one of its young ministers” responsible for the crime.
In Column 15 of the post mortem notes, under the heading 'Injury to genitals/purging” the forensic doctor who conducted the autopsy noted: “No injury to genitals/No purging seen.” Speaking about the delay in submission of the post mortem report, an officer part of the probe said, “Due to Covid, a swab was taken and after it tested negative for the virus on June 11, the post mortem was carried out.” Despite this, a Narayan Rane vehemently denied to accept the report, telling Indian Express, “As per the report we have seen, the places where she has sustained injuries is not caused by a fall from a building. I do not know what report you have seen.”
We wonder why Rane is so adamant to believe his theories rather official documentations? Does he really know if something's afoot is it just his imagination working in overdrive? Time alone will tell.
