Veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar was rushed to Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai after he complained of breathlessness on Sunday. The doctors confirmed the new stating that he has been admitted in a non COVID-19 ward. A tweet was made from his Twitter handle stating that he has been admitted for tests and investigations as he had episodes of breathlessness. Now, an update on his health has been shared. Also Saira Banu has made request to his fans.
On Dilip Kumar's Twitter handle, a tweet has been made requesting fans to not believe in WhatsApp forwards. The tweet also mentioned that his health his stable. The tweet read, "Don’t believe in WhatsApp forwards. Saab is stable. Thank you for your heart-felt duas and prayers. As per doctors, he should be home in 2-3 days. Insh’Allah."
Dilip Kumar is reportedly under the care of Cardiologist Dr Nitin Gokhale and Pulmonologist Dr Jalil Parkar. To Etimes, Dr Parkar revealed that Dilip Kumar is on oxygen support. He said, "Mr. Dilip Kumar has been put on oxygen support. He has been diagnosed with bilateral pleural effusion along with a drop in oxygen saturation." Further adding, "But he is stable and not in the ICU. If all goes well, he may be discharged in 2-3 days."
Earlier, a tweet made his official handle on June 6 read, "Dilip Sahab has been admitted to non-Covid PD Hinduja Hospital Khar for routine tests and investigations. He’s had episodes of breathlessness. A team of healthcare workers led by Dr. Nitin Gokhale is attending to him. Please keep Sahab in your prayers and please stay safe." Soon get well soon messages started pouring in.
