The COVID-19 pandemic has affected lives in more ways than one. The lockdown which had been brought into effect left many struggling to make ends meet. Come every other day, we hear reports of one or the other celeb going bankrupt due to financial crunch. Financial crisis has also become a major concern in the country right now, with the economy falling like marbles through the slide. And now, as per reports, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S actor Surendra Rajan who played the role of a sweeper in the college where Mumnna worked is also facing the same thing. And when our hero, Sonu Sood learnt about his condition, the actor reached out to him and has promised to help him reach his hometown by 18 June 2020.
Rajan while praising the Dabangg actor said, "Sonu Sood’s work is amazing and I am surprised that a man is working like this. One cannot do this unless he has a tremendous will to help people from within. He is doing extraordinary work and people like Sonu Sood are rare."
"I could have asked him for help but I did not want to rely on anyone," he added while revealing that he has been in touch with Sanjay Dutt and considers him his son.
Talking about is situation the actor revealed that he was living on rent in the city and wasn't able to pay the rent for a few months now. His landlord had been nagging him for the same. "One of my disciples paid Rs 45,000 for three months. I also got help from the RSS as they gave me ration," Rajan revealed to an online entertainment portal.
Meanwhile, Sonu Sood is truly a hero, a messiah for all the migrants. He has been continuously day-in-day-out, helping them reach home while also providing with PPE and other essential things.
