The handsome hunk of Bollywood, Sidharth Malhotra has turned 35 today and on his special day, the Marjaavaan star has shared the first look posters of his upcoming biographical war drama Shershaah in which he is portraying the character of a real-life hero Captain Vikram Batra. Talking about the images, the actor looks every bit of convincing as an army officer and we should expect some great war sequences in the film. Sidharth shared the posters on his social media account with a note, "An absolute honor to be able to paint the big screen with the shades of bravery & sacrifice. Paying an ode to the journey of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC) and bringing the UNTOLD TRUE STORY with #Shershaah. Releasing 3rd July, 2020."
This film is very special to Sidharth Malhotra. In fact, he had earlier said in an interview that if he had the means, he would have produced this film. "If I had the means then the Vikram Batra film would have been produced by me but because it is made on such a massive scale and I am not well equipped (he is not producing it). Maybe in the future (he will produce films)," quoted Sid. "Everyone knows about his heroic stories from newspapers and articles. When you meet people who have lived with him, his family or have known him personally, you feel an immense kind of pressure. First, you hope to do justice to his personal life and family," he added.
Also starring Kiara Advani in a lead role, the film marks the Bollywood directorial debut of south filmmaker Vishnu Varadhan. It is set to hit the screens on July 3rd at the box office. So, have you liked the first look posters of Shershaah? Tweet to us @bollywood_life
