If you are really a diehard fan of the beloved Bollywood sci-fi movie, Koi Mil Gaya, directed by Rakesh Roshan and starring his son, superstar Hrithik Roshan, then you may have noticed that Jaadu, the alien in the film, who bestows Rohit Mehra (played by Hrithik) with unbelievable powers, has an extra thumb. If you haven't, then do watch the film again before considering yourself a fan, will you? Anyway, for the rest of y'all out there, the secret behind Jaadu's extra thumb, which has been haunting Bollywood news circles for the longest time, is finally out, and it comes straight from the horse's mouth.
A fan and fellow entertainment journalist named Himesh Mankad, who had recently rewatched Koi Mil Gaya on TV, tagged Hrithik Roshan on Twitter and wrote: "Watching #KoiMilGaya on TV and a weird observation. Was it an on purpose decision to give an extra thumb to #Jadoo just like #RohitMehra (#HrithikRoshan), which was the major reason for the connect between the two characters? @iHrithik @RakeshRoshan_N." Check out his tweet below:
Always known to indulge his fans; Hrithik soon confirmed said fan's observation and replied: "Yes. It was to help Rohit feel familiarity. But we had to keep it subtle as the thumb didn’t look as great as I wanted :) you have a good eye my friend. Stay safe." Read the actor's reply here...
Well, the cat is finally out of the bag. So, the next time you watch Koi Mil Gaya, you can do so without this question bugging you
