Kareena Kapoor Khan wasn't bothered by the fact that Alia Bhatt had an 'epic' role in Udta Punjab

Kareena Kapoor Khan has claimed that working with the Student Of The Year actress, Alia Bhatt, in Udta Punjab was sisterhood.

Two actresses cannot be friends! Haven't you heard this popular saying in Bollywood? Well, this seems to be no longer relevant in the industry as actresses, these days, believe in shelling out BFF goals and sisterhood over rivalry. Now, isn't that something different as compared to what used to happen back in the day? It definitely is and we totally welcome this big change in Bollywood. And Kareena Kapoor Khan's friendship with her Udta Punjab co-star, Alia Bhatt, is proof. The actress has claimed that working with the Student Of The Year actress in Udta Punjab was sisterhood. Not for once, was Kareena bothered by the fact that Alia had a central character to play in the film while she played a doctor.

On her radio show What Women Want, the actress said, "I think working with Alia in Udta Punjab was sisterhood. In fact, her role was so powerful that actually I was like, ‘This is epic.’ Not for once did I ever flinch or think that should I do the film or not. I said I’ll be like the perfect foil to it. We just did the film together."

The actress further stated that she loves how actresses are now coming out in support of each other. "There is one thing that I love about social media. I like the way actresses nowadays congratulate and praise one another on their work, and sometimes even share each other’s work. I think that’s huge," she added.

Karena mentioned that she makes it a point to message her fellow actresses when she likes their work. The Jab We Met actress stated that she has sent messages to Alia and Katrina for their good work in films. Isn't that good to hear?
