India is seeing a surge in the number of COVID-19 cases. More than 2 lakh cases were registered in the mast 24 hours. The situation is really quite grim. As per the partial lockdown rules, the Maharashtra government has halted shooting in the state for 15 days. As a result, many film and television producers are considering shifting productions to locations outside Maharashtra.
Amitabh Bachchan opened up about the restrictions on his blog. In a pensive note, he seemed concerned about those who work daily. The actor wrote, "And the Lockdown from 8 pm today for the next 15 days .. all work stopped .. schedules shall be greatly affected, but shall prevail eventually .. but what of those that work daily .. some provisions made by production .. but .... the World gives time to think reassess reconstruct refurbish resolve remind of the next and the days that shall follow."
He added, "And the unit breaks early .. to meet again after the break of 15 .. there is no alarm .. just a disciplined obedience .. but done .. when did we find an entire universe follow the same discipline .. wash distance mask .... time to readjust .. time to live with Babuji .. time to be in prayer for the suffering .. time to ponder .. observe and imbibe .. make the time fruitful .. but disciplined .... AND .. be able in command to do for the ‘other’ .. their needs and their wants.”
Recently, the producer of Ek Villain 2, Ekta Kapoor, said how shooting has become very challenging. “Shooting during these times is hard on the cast and crew, but they’ve shown fantastic resilience and great team work and have turned things around at such a short notice; we are ready to roll this week. The scale and mounting of the film calls for live, scenic locales instead of studio floors,” she said. It is believed that the film will be shot in Goa.
