A couple of days ago, the reports of Nawazuddin Siddiqui's wife, Aliya sending him a legal notice demanding a divorce and seeking maintenance broke out. It was very shocking for everyone as it was totally unexpected. Aliya's lawyers confirmed the news and revealed that they had sent the divorce notice via email and WhatsApp. Due to the lockdown as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the postal service wasn't available and hence they took up to that means.
And now, as per the report, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is yet to reply to the legal notice and her claims as well as demands. Talking about the same, the lawyer revealed that given the trying times that the country and the world is in, it is not permitted to travel. While awaiting the response and the situation to calm down, he said that they will eventually plan the course of action.
Meanwhile, the Munna Michael actor is in his hometown, Budhana. He took special permission to visit his hometown to be by his mother's side. Nawazuddin recently lost his sister due to which his mother's condition deteriorated.
Aliya Siddiqui has some hard accusations for the Haraamkhor actor. "He (Nawaz) had never raised his hands on me, but the shouting and arguments had become unbearable. You could say though that only that was left. Yes, but his family has mentally and physically tortured me a lot. His brother had even hit me. His mother and brothers and sisters-in-law used to stay with us only in Mumbai. So, I've been bearing a lot for too many years. His first wife had also left him for this reason alone. It's a pattern. There are already seven cases registered by the wives of their house against them, and four divorces have taken place. This is the fifth one. It's a pattern in his family. You conceal a lot to avoid embarrassment before others, but how much can you take in love. My sister is supporting me as my father and mother are no more, and my brother had passed away last December." Aliya exclusively told BollywoodLife.com.
