Actress Radhika Madan, who was in isolation for two weeks after travelling from Mumbai to Delhi, finally reunited with her mother as her self-quarantine came to an end. Radhika took to Instagram, where she shared two photographs of herself along with her mother. In the images, she is seen getting hugs and kisses from her mother.
"14 din ke vanvaas ke baad #selfquarantine ends. #maa, " she captioned the image.
On May 29, Radhika shared that she was practicing self-isolation.
Radhika flew from Mumbai to Delhi on May 26 as soon as domestic flights resumed.
Before boarding the flight, she had even shared a picture that shows her posing in front of the airport. In the picture, she is seen wearing a face shield, gloves and a mask.
A few days ago, Radhika took to her Instagram handle to share a heartwarming picture with her Angrezi Medium co-star, Irrfan Khan. ‘Teri laadki mai . . ❤," she captioned the post.
When Irrfan passed away, she had written, "I don't know what to say... my heart aches when I write this. He was one of the strongest people I knew, a fighter. And so are Sutapa ma'am, Babil and Ayan. I'm just grateful that our paths crossed in this lifetime. He is and will always be an inspiration to many. A legend. The man who changed the wave of the Indian film industry. May his soul rest in peace."
She also spoke about meeting Irrfan for the first time, "His performances in Maqbool and Paan Singh Tomar are my favourites. We met a couple of times for readings before shooting began. The first thing I said to him was, ‘Hello pappa’. He is extremely sweet, warm and endearing."
The actress had earlier revealed that the makers had designed the schedule of the film to suit Irrfan's medical treatment. "He and Homi had been co-ordinating before work on the film started. On the set, Irrfan sir gave his 200 per cent. There was an amazing energy around because of him," she spoke in an interview.
