Some hopeful reports are finally trickling in for Sanjay Dutt from Bollywood news circles. Based on the latest update that we have learned about Sanajy Dutt's helath, it seems that the actor may soon be returning home after undergoing his preliminary tests for lung cancer. This does not mean that he is out of the woods, not even close, but it does offer promise that his initial tests are going well, and our Munna Bhai MBBS may make a quick and complete recovery from his dreaded ailment.
The news update comes from a source in Lilavati hospital, where Sanjay Dutt is undergoing treatment. Informing Mumbai Mirror, the source said, “Despite knowing this will be a long and tough journey, they are determined to go about their lives as normally as possible, confident that this too shall pass. Right now, the preliminary tests are being conducted. So, Sanjay is not expected to be in the hospital for a long time. Once the reports are out, he will return home but hospital visits will be frequent.”
Earlier, eminent filmmaker Subhash Ghai, who previously directed Sanju Baba in two of the biggest hits of his career, Vidhaata (1982) and Khal Nayak (1993), opened up about the star's health, disclosing their plans for a sequel to Khal Nayak, and believing that he'll be back with a bang given all that he has faced before in life. “Sanjay Dutt has grown before my eyes. I know him since he was 10 years old. His second film, Vidhaata, after Rocky, was made by me. Then came Khal Nayak, which was a big hit, a monumental film of his life, and that, too ,was with me. In fact, we were planning to make Khal Nayak Returns together. Obviously, I pray to God that his health improves because he is a very strong person. He has seen many crossed in life. He is a guy who can fight darkness, storms and mountains, and this which has happened (Sanju's lung cancer), you see, he'll come back, he'll again get glory, he'll return with a bang,” said Subhash Ghai.
Fingers crossed that this is the onset of more good news.
