Tara Sutaria to turn singer with her upcoming movie, Ek Villain 2

Tara Sutaria had revealed that she was to sing in her last film, Marjaavaan. However, things did not turn out as planned as she had ended up playing a mute girl in the movie.

Not many know that Tara Sutaria began her professional journey as a singer. And now, the actress is all set to add a new feather to her hat as she's ready to showcase her musical side to her fans. Tara, who had marked her debut in the Hindi film industry with Student Of The Year 2, has revealed that she will be singing in two of her eagerly awaited upcoming movie, Ek Villain 2. In fact, Tara has often expressed her desire to lend her voice to tracks in her own films, and now, her wish is finally coming true.

Tara Sutaria had revealed that she was to sing in her last film, Marjaavaan, which has costarred Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Rakul Preet Singh, and had gone on to perform decently at the box office. However, things did not turn out as planned as she had ended up playing a mute girl in the movie. She had also revealed that she was soon planning to come up with an album, though that is yet to materialise. Extremely passionate about music, she has been singing professionally right since her childhood, having received training in western classical music since a tender age. Tara had also performed on stage in musical shows before she had begun acting.

A year back, a video of her singing opera on a popular talent hunt show had resurfaced, which had met with wide appreciation from the audience. Soon, requests about taking up music professionally started pouring in from fans on Tara’s social media. Seems like her upcoming films will be quite special for the actor and her fans alike as she will be displaying both her talents before the camera and behind the microphone.
