Shooting on, honeymoon gone! Well, that seems to be the case for Varun Dhawan. The actor recently tied the knot with his childhood love, Natasha Dalal in Alibaug. There were some reports saying that the couple will be heading to Turkey for their honeymoon. Well, that does not seem to be happening at least for now, as Varun Dhawan is about to begin shooting for Bhediya.
According to a source close to the film, “The crew starts shooting the first leg of Bhediya in Arunachal Pradesh from the first week of February. The team has been busy prepping to get on the floors the past few weeks.” Interestingly, Varun, who was seen making the rounds of Maddock Films’ office even as his wedding date neared, is already back to work. “Varun has been excited about Bhediya. It is his second outing with Maddock Films, after the critical success of Badlapur and fans would get to see him in a very different film and avatar,” revealed the source. Bhediya is a horror-comedy, produced by Maddock Films and directed by Amar Kaushik.
It is then safe to say that with his wedding rituals done, it is work on the cards for Varun. The actor, who had tested positive for Covid-19 recently, is perhaps putting his honeymoon on the backburner for good, and instead using this time to get the projects in hand rolling. Smart decision, we say!
Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan took to social media on Wednesday to thank fans for their wishes. He wrote, "The last few days me and Natasha have received so much love and positivity from everyone so just wanted to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart."
Varun wore a Manish Malhotra-styled ivory sherwani with silver and gold zardorsi work. The designer had posted a video of the actor getting ready.
