Actor Shivkumar Verma, who has been a part of several films and TV show over his lengthy career, including Ajay Devgn's Halla Bol, is currently in critical condition and on ventilator in a hospital. The Cine and TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA) has made it known in an official statement that the veteran actor is battling for his life in a hospital in Malad, Mumbai, since 30th November, after he had complained of breathlessness. Subsequently, CINTAA has sent out a fervent plea to big names like Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Salman Khan and others to come forward with financial aid, given the mounting medical bills and Shivkumar Verma's unflattering monetary condition.
Taking to its official Twitter handle, CINTAA shared their official statement along with a caption, tagging Bollywood's aforementioned big names. “AN URGENT CALL FOR HELP! #CINTAA Member Shivkumar Verma is suffering from COPD and is also suspected of COVID-19. He is in need of urgent funds for hospital expenses. We humbly urge you to please help by donating whatever you can @amitbehl @akshaykumar @TeamAkshay @iamvidyabalan,” read the plea from CINTAA.
