Here's the full low down on the EXCLUSIVE meet and greet, our editor Tushar Joshi had with King Khan.
Shah Rukh Khan turned 50 on November 2. For his audience and fans, 50 is a big number. But for the actor, it's just a number.
Still young at heart and eager to learn, innovate and challenge himself, he believes his best is yet to come. For someone whose work spans two decades, it might seem something hard to believe. But after attending the stellar birthday bash arranged meticulously and executed without any glitch by his efficient team, we couldn't help but sort of believe his words.
Our editor, Tushar Joshi got the chance to get an audience with him after the bash where Shah Rukh shared some anecdotes from the past, spoke about his next release Fan and threw some light on where he sees Indian film-making going. We also got a RARE opportunity to meet his tiny tot Abram, and trust us when we say the photo do NO justice to the cuteness that he is!
BollywoodLife presented him with a small token of appreciation for entertaining us and for turning 50. It was a difficult task putting together a piece that does justice to his vast yet eclectic work. We managed to thrown in the popular titles and films that he's famous for. Shah Rukh not only loved the poster photo frame we gave him, but was also curious to know how we chose these films and even joked, "so these are your favourites then?". The conversation veered between his perception of how the media needs to spend time becoming an audience to the process of film-making to even asking us what were our favourite and not so favourite films of the year.
The night might have wrapped for us, but SRK continues to do what he does best - work and strive to give us better and bigger films. Shah Rukh will now head to Goa where he continues to shoot for Rohit Shetty's Dilwale which releases December 18.
