BollywoodLife TV Awards 2015: Nisha Aur Uske Cousins voted as the best new show by fans

The show maybe all set to close the curtains, but fans still believe that it was one of the best shows that came out in 2014

BollywoodLife is the perfect blend of films and television.We recently wrapped up our BollywoodLife Film Awards for their social media presence. In order to recognise the hard work of the TV fraternity we are now all set to celebrate telly awards. BollywoodLifeTV Awards picked about 11 categories ranging from most popular reality show, popular onscreen actor, and popular child actor to favourite vamp, and others. One of these categories included Favourite New Show; the polls are closed and the results are out. Bodhi Tree Productions’ Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, which all set to shut shop this month won with a small margin at 29 per cent’ which is just three numbers ahead of Balaji telefilms’ Kumkum Bhagya. The show starring Sriti Jha and Shabbir Ahluwalia came second in position with 26. In third position with 19 per cent votes is Ek Hasina Thi which was a finite series and has come to an end. Ekta Kapoor’s Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi came in fourth with 14 per cent and Jamai Raja is last with only 11 per cent votes in its favour. Nisha Aur Uske Cousins may be coming to an end in a few days but it will be recorded as one the iconic show that had a different story to tell. BollywoodLife congratulates the cast and crew of the show on having been chosen as the aam janta’s favourite new show!
