We now hear that the actress has indeed been tested positive for swine flu, so confirmed Dr Chirag Matravadiya of the Sterling Hospital in Rajkot...
Earlier today we told you EXCLUSIVELY that Sonam Kapoor has not been tested for swine flu and was just in the Rajkot hospital to get a blood test for her recurring fever issues and the respiratory infection. Her spokesperson said that Sonam is healthy and returned to the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo sets where she is shooting with Salman Khan.
But a new report confirms that Sonam has indeed been tested positive for swine flu. After getting her blood test reports from the hospital which confirmed that the recurrent fevers were caused due to the H1N1 virus or swine flu and not the respiratory infection she earlier had, Sonam decided to leave her Prem Ratan shoot midway and fly out to Mumbai in a chartered plane.
Her parents are worried sick for her health and obviously Salman too thought that it was best for Sonam to get treated for the disease in Mumbai. On his insistence, the shooting of the Sooraj Barjatya film has been put on hold for now while Sonam is back home getting treated.
The new year has not been good for Sonam in terms of health. Her shooting commitments will suffer due to the same. We hope that the actress makes a speedy recovery.
