As expected, the season 2 of Karan Johar's radio show Calling Karan is turning out to be too much fun. Apart from addressing the various issues in the personal life of his listeners, Karan is also making quite a few revelations about himself in the reverse Rapid fire round. This segment is our personal favourite. Even celebrity guests turn to our agony uncle to seek advice and who better than KJo who can call a spade, well, a spade!
In one of the recent episodes of the show, the multi-talented filmmaker was asked about a remake of his directorial debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. While answering that question, Karan said that if he ever makes Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 2, he would cast actors Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Janhvi Kapoor in it. Now we're totally sold at that! The 1998 film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai featured Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji in the key roles. It's been 20 years since the film released, and Karan should totally take this as his cue and bring us a remake! Alia was launched in Bollywood by Karan with his film Student of the Year in 2012. Janhvi also made her acting debut with a film, Dhadak, backed by Karan. Ranbir on the other hand, has worked with the filmmaker in films like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
