We’ve been tuning into Calling Karan week after week to seek Karan Johar’s advice on relationship woes. While he stuns us with some scandalous advice, many-a-times he offers some practical solutions, mixed with his idea of relationships and love. This week was also on the same lines. The ultimate love guru of Bollywood was helping the country with some relationship advice during the recent broadcast of Calling Karan, when Dangal girl Sanya Malhotra decided to give him a call. The Pataakha star, who delivered a brilliant performance in the Vishal Bharadwaj directorial which revolved around two sisters, had a tricky relationship question for the Koffee With Karan 6 host and, as always, he gave her the perfect solution.
Sanya called in and asked, “I want to ask what if two girls, two sisters, two friends fall for the same guy...what should they do? Should they follow the bro code, or they should just go for it?”
Here’s what Karan advised:
“What I have to tell you Sanya is that if two of you have fallen for the same person, there’s always one who fell in love first, one who found or discovered or got attracted first therefore you have to follow the bro code. So, jo pehle jaaye (the person who came first) has to have access first no matter how much it breaks your heart or the other person’s heart but whoever is first in line. It’s first come first serve when it comes to a situation like this because there is a code there. Toh jo pehle jaaye or jo pehle feel kare, pehla opportunity uska,” said Karan.
