Sushant Singh Rajput's sudden demise is still the most talked-about thing. It was just yesterday when finally the Supreme Court gave its verdict that the actor's suicide case will now be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). This decision of the Supreme Court was welcomed by people and fans were happy that now the truth will finally be out. This decision came after Rhea Chakraborty had filed a petition in the apex court to transfer the case to Mumbai. Sushant Singh Rajput's father KK Singh had lodged an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty at Patna Police station on July 25. He had accused Rhea Chakraborty of abetting in his son’s suicide. Post this, Rhea had filed a petition that the Bihar Police have no jurisdiction in the case as things happened in Mumbai itself.
She also said that the Bihar Police are taking interest in this matter for political gains. She accused the Bihar Chief Minister of using this case for the upcoming elections in the state. Extra media attention and sensationalization of Sushant Singh Rajput's case is also why Rhea wants the case to be transferred to Mumbai only. However, fans and Sushant Singh Rajput's friends from the industry have appreciated the decision of the Supreme Court and believe that the truth will now be out and Sushant will get justice. Now, Shakti Kapoor has also reacted to this decision of the Supreme Court. In an interview with ETimes, he said that he welcomes Supreme Court’s verdict in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. He also added that he is relieved and has tears of happiness in his eyes for the actor.
Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14. The actor committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Bandra. However, many of his fans, friends and family believes that Sushant cannot commit suicide.
