Kerala Strikers won the toss and decided to bat first. They scored 189 runs with the good performance by Arjun Nandakumar, who made 83 runs from 55 Balls. However, it was Rajeev Pillai, who entertained the audience big time. He scored 50 runs from 33 balls where he 8 boundaries.
In return, Mumbai Heroes convincingly chased the target and beat Kerala Strikers by 3 wickets. S Kochhar and A Lakhia scored 42 (25 balls) and 45(20 balls) respectively.
