Forget the steaminess implied in the Hate Story 3 promos. The heavily censored film will have none of that!
In yet another case of naam bade, darshan khote, director Vishal Pandya’s Hate Story 3’s steamy sex flick will be a far tamer on the big screen than observed in trailers and teasers. And one has the Censor Board and their watchful moral hawk-eyes to thank for this!
While the f-word and behenc**ds have been done away with, the Censor Board has forbidden the mention of the Sanskrit word for sex — sambhog, in case you were curious — in the film. Says a source, “It was a scene where Karan Singh Grover expresses a desire to have sex with Zareen Khan. The Censor Board objected to the word.” Says a source from the Board, “Very often, such sexy films show a lot of skin and smutty language in the promos for the internet. But when they bring the films to us they do away with all the ‘dirt’ voluntarily. Hate Story 3 came to us with quite a few voluntary cuts.”
Oops! Looks like being an erotic thriller, the film will be losing out on all the hardwork behind making it as erotic as possible! Would this affect their box office collection? With the release date of the film nearing, we can't help but wonder how the film will fare post the chops of the Censor Board. Are you excited to watch the film?
