Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat: Will separation from Dharma make Ashok a warrior?

Life has almost become insignificant for Ashok when he learnt that his mother is no longer alive – then what changed his decision to come back to Patlipur

In the recent episodes of Chakravartin Ashok Samrat, we saw how Queen Helina gets Ashok’s mother killed. But no one knew that Chanakya’s spies had rescued her and it was someone else’s dead body that the king found. Chanakya finds Devi Dharma and tells her everything that happened in Patlipur after she was presumed dead. She insists on meeting Ashok to prove that his mother is not dead. However, when Devi Dharma finds Ashoka and Samrat Bindusar in her old house, she overhears their discussion over the lad’s father. She realises that without knowing that Samrat Bindusar is his real father, the two have bonded. On the other hand, after much convincing Ashok agrees to come back to Patlipur with Samrat Bindusar. He realises that he still has a lot to learn in life when it comes to sword fighting and the trade and tricks of war before venturing out on his own. In the latest promo, we see how Devi Dharma keeps an eye on her son in disguise. Ashok, who is filled with anger for his helplessness on not being able to save his mother, puts all his energies towards learning the art of swordsmanship.

Will Devi Dharma and Ashok ever come face to face? Will the mother and son be revealed in front of Samrat Bindusar? Will Queen Helina be successful in her agendas? Stay tuned to this space to find out.
