Rumour has it that the Mega Star wants to make a few changes in the script
Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi has been away from films for quite sometime, engrossed in his political duties. But when news broke that Chiru will break his 8 year exile from silver screen with a film tentatively titled Auto Johnny with director Puri Jagannadh, his fans were overjoyed.
Now the rumour doing rounds in the gossip circles is that Chiru's 150th film might be shelved. Rubbishing those rumours, a source close to the actor revealed,"It's not true that Chiranjeevi sir has ditched the project. He didn't like the second half of the film that was announced with director Puri Jagannadh; hence it has been put on hold. But he's listening to few scripts now and is likely to zero in on a project soon".
After director VV Vinayak visited the superstar recently, speculations are rife that Chiranjeevi might be working with director soon. " It's true that Vinayak met Chiranjeevi sir recently. It was just a courtesy meeting in which they discussed a story idea as well. They've been in touch since then but since Vinayak is busy with a film with Akhil, it might take a while," added the source.
Looks like Chiru is having second thoughts working with Puri Jagannadh. Will VV Vinayak walk away with Chiru's 150th film?
