The Telugu Mega star opens up about his much awaited return to big screen after 8 years
Matinee idol Chiranjeevi has been away from films for a long long time, much to the disappointment of fans. But ever since the announcement of his 150th film was made, there has been tremendous buzz on Chiranjeevi's return.
But before his 150th film with director Puri Jagannadh, Chiranjeevi will be seen playing a 15 minute long cameo in Ram Charan's Bruce Lee. We hear that director Srinu Vaitla has ensured that Chiranjeevi fans would be entertained as he has added fight scenes and dance sequences for Chiru to pull off.
For the first time Chiranjeevi himself has spoken about his cameo in Bruce Lee. Speaking about his role, Chiru said," My role comes towards the end of the film. It'll be the like the delicious dessert you wait for after a good meal. I'm sure the role will be the perfect treat for my fans". Though Chiranjeevi didn't divulge any information about his cameo, he shared his insecurities on returning to big screen for the first time.
The song in which Chiru shook his leg was choreographed by Manoj Paramahamsa. " I wasn't sure how I'll look on screen after a gap of so many years. It was only after I watched the first shot on the monitor that I was convinced that people will still come to watch me on the screen. I have to thank Manoj for making me look smart," Chiranjeevi added.
While it can't be predicted if Ram Charan's Bruce Lee will work or not, one thing is for sure that Chiranjeevi fans will ensure that the film gets a superb opening at box office.
