Kollywood superstar Chiyaan Vikram's son Dhruv is making his Tamil debut with the official remake of Vijay Deverakonda's blockbuster Arjun Reddy, which is directed by Bala. The film is currently in the production process and is soon expected to wrap up. Now, as per the latest development, the star-kid will make his Telugu debut with director Sekhar Kammula's new project. The untitled venture is expected to be a dance movie.
A source close to the development revealed, “Kammula was impressed with the looks of Dhruv and was convinced that the 22-year-old would bring in a lot of freshness to the film. Vikram was also looking for a seasoned director who can give a perfect launch pad for his heir apparent. The discussions were fruitful and the duo has reached an agreement in principle to introduce Dhruv in Telugu cinema with this film that revolves around dance.”
In the past, Kammula has given breaks to actors like Nikhil, Varun Sandesh, Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi in Telugu industry who went to become popular among the masses. Interestingly, Bala and Sekhar Kammula, who are helming Dhruv's debut Tamil and Telugu projects are National Award winners. So, with this, we can definitely say that Dhruv's future is in right hands. The official announcement of the dance film is expected to happen in August. Anyway, are you excited Dhruv's Telugu debut? Share your thoughts in the comments section of the official Twitter account.
