The Closer magazine reported that Brown, his bodyguard and his friend were detained following a 24-year-old woman’s allegation that the singer had raped her. The woman claimed that she was raped in his suite at the Mandarin Oriental hotel on January 15. The woman went on to state that she met the three men at a Paris nightclub.
As per TMZ, the singer plans on suing the woman. Brown's Parisian lawyer Raphael Chiche told the outlet that Brown is planning on filing the defamation case as soon as possible. "Chris Brown is free. No lawsuits were filed against him. He vigorously challenges the charges against him. A complaint for slanderous denunciation will be filed tomorrow with the public prosecutor of Paris,” the lawyer said.
Brown previously had been in news when he had assaulted his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. The singer pleaded guilty back then. But this time, Chris is very clear that none of the accusations are true.
