Janmashtami 2015: Dipika Kakar's Sasural Simar Ka and Helly Shah's Swaragini to see major plot twists!

This Janmashtami is going to be an exciting one for TV enthusiasts as some major twists are being brought in, in the most popular shows. Read on!

TV shows not only present unique storylines, plots but also aim at showing tracks that celebrate various festivals of India like Diwali, Holi, Dusshera, etc. The nation celebrates Janmashatami today, which is Lord Krishna's birthday. Various TV shows are planning to showcase the festivities of Janmashatami, but with a twist. Where some shows will be seen celebrating Janmashtami in the predictable way by showcasing pooja ceremonies and other cultural customs, others like Sasural Simar Ka and Udaan are using this auspicious occasion as a part of their plots. In Sasural Simar Ka, Deepika Kakar who plays Simar, will be seen taking part in the Dahi Handi ritual. She will be seen climibing the pyramid, to fulfill her family's wishes. In Udaan, Spandan Chaturvedi aka Chakor will be seen breaking the kalash as she will be considered as the lucky one to do so, when seen in her Chauka avatar. Zee TV's Neeli Chatri Wale will have a fancy dress competition where will children will come, dresesd as up as Krishna along with mothers turning up in Yashoda and Devki's forms. In Swarigini, starring Helly Shah as Swara, the family will be seen celebrating Janmashtami with a Krishna Puja. Big Magic's show Hazir Jawab Birbal will celebrate Lord Krishna's birthday by showcasing a track, based on Janmashtami. A Sadhvi will walk into the empire and claim that she the biggest Lord Krishna Devotee around. She will seek permission from Akbar, to stay in the empire and her love for Krishna will engage Akbar as well as others in the festivities of Janmashtami.
