The cat is out of the bag finally...
When Karan Johar started his career, he made his first movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai with two people he loved the most in the business - Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. The result of this bonding between the three resulted in the film becoming one of the biggest hits of Indian Cinema. Shah Rukh and Karan Johar are still thick friends and often one takes opinion from the other regarding their job and life. So when we first saw Shah Rukh taking an interest in Karan's Diwali bonanza this year Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, it struck us what if he had a cameo in this film. We desperately wanted it to be true. Then came reports he is a doing an extended cameo and will replace Saif Ali Khan here who apparently plays Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's husband in the film. Later our source close to the production rubbished the claims that SRK is replacing Saif. But now we hear his cameo is very much there.

We have been informed by our source that the Fan actor is definitely part of the film and he is doing something that will warm your hearts. Shah Rukh will be seen in a lovely cameo in the film. It will explore the bond that the actor has with KJo and it will be one of the highlights of the film. Aren't you already jumping with joy to hear this? We totally are. From the moment we heard this, we are finding it difficult to contain our excitement. It will be so good to see Karan direct SRK again after so many years.
Shah Rukh had even heard three songs which he talked about during Eid celebrations when he met the press. “I have heard three songs and they are amazing. I have heard the title track and it is one of the nicest ballets. It is fantastic.” A daily had wrongly put up a story that SRK was unhappy with the film and have asked to make changes which KJo was adhering to. He had refuted this claim as well. He had said, "I have not seen the trailer of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and I haven’t said that this is how a trailer should be, I have read (these) reports. Even if I think that way I will not discuss it outside. I have faith it (trailer) will be good.” He had even tweeted about the music saying, "Simple, happy & innocent. Had so much of it with Ranbir, Karan & Jitesh tonite. Aye Dil hai Mushkil Riff is 2 die for."
