The makers of "Dabangg 3" have voluntarily removed "certain scenes" from the title track "Hud hud Dabangg". A tweet from the official Twitter handle of Salman Khan Films read: "Keeping everyone's sentiment in mind we have voluntarily edited certain scenes from the song 'Hud Hud Dabangg'."

"Dabangg 3" landed in controversy when a Hindu outfit and sections of social media objected to a sequence in the title song "Hud hud Dabangg" that shows saffron-clad sadhus dancing with guitars.
The outfit, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, also sent a letter to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) demanding the censor certificate of the film be cancelled, even as #BoycottDabangg3 had trended on social media.
Salman, who returns in his popular cop avatar of Chulbul Pandey in "Dabangg 3", on December 1 had reacted to the storm over the song saying that a certain section of people were trying to gain publicity by dragging the number unnecessarily into a controversy.
Dabangg 3 is the most awaited film this year. The film is the prequel to the first Dabangg movie and it has been creating a lot of buzz since the film was announced. The movie is directed by Prabhudheva and stars Salman Khan, Saiee Manjrekar, Kichcha Sudeep, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan, Mahie Gill, Pankaj Tripathi, Nikitin Dheer, and Nawab Shah.
Prabhudeva has primarily worked in the Telugu circuit, Sudeep is a big draw in Karnataka. It is easy to see where Salman and his co-producers, brother Arbaaz Khan and Nikhil Dwivedi, struck the brilliant idea of releasing "Dabangg 3" in four languages. Besides Salman's home turf Hindi, the film will also open in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada on December 20. At 53, he is at an interesting cusp of life and career. A few of his recent films ("Tubelight", "Race 3", "Bharat") have fared below the blockbuster expectations that fans automatically reserve for any release bearing the name of Salman Khan. Yet, with every release --irrespective of the film's fate -- his stardom only seems to grow.
Today, Salman Khan seems to be his only competition, unaffected by box-office results, and fiercely propped by an ultra-loyal fan base that will brook no criticism of their hero. Salman would account his success to hard work and, importantly, having a keen hold of the audience's pulse. The film will get back Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha as Chulbul Pandey and the super sexy Rajjo. The film is all set to hit the theatres tomorrow.
