Ajay Devgn collaborated with Rakul Preet Singh for De De Pyaar De, the film was exhilarating and had everyone in stitches. After six years, Ajay and Rakul have teamed up again for the highly anticipated De De Pyaar De 2. The film serves as the sequel to De De Pyaar De and features an impressive ensemble cast including R Madhavan, Gautami Kapoor, Jaaved Jaaferi, Meezaan Jafri, Ishita Dutta, Janki Bodiwala, and others. De De Pyaar De 2 is written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain, with Anshul Sharma as the director. Ajay and Rakul return to their roles of Ashish Mehra and Ayesha Khurana in the film. According to Sacnilk, De De Pyaar De 2 earned Rs 8.75 crore, outperforming Son of Sardaar 2, Ajay's last film. On Day 1, that movie made about Rs 6.75.

As of now, De De Pyaar De 2 earned around Rs 2.72 crore on its second day. Totaling to Rs 11.47 crore. It is estimated that the movie will make double digits on day 2 alone according to afternoon trends.

Meanwhile, as Tabu, who played a lead role in De De Pyaar De, is not a part of De De Pyaar De 2, co-producer Luv Ranjan explained, "Hopefully, a third part will happen. In the first part, we went to the man's house. Now, we've gone to the girl's house. If everything goes well, then we'll also make both families meet".
