Dear Zindagi is one of those few films that will remain with us forever. The storyline, coupled with Alia and Shah Rukh's spectacular performances made way for this one to be a total winner at the box office. A new version of Dear Zindagi's song Tu Hi Hai is out which is sung by Ali Zafar. After all the fuss around Pakistani artists being banned in India, it comes as a pleasant surprise that Ali Zafar's version of this song has been allowed to release. The lyrics of the song are beautiful anyway and Ali's voice just makes it refreshing. The song is originally sung by Arijit Singh, of course he added his own charm to it but this new version too will touch your heart.
The storyline of the film ris about Kiara (Alia Bhatt) who finds answers to her burning queries with help from a shrink Jehangir Khan (Shah Rukh Khan) was relatable and poignant at the same time. It had Shah Rukh in a totally different role and all of us wanted to have a Jug in our lives post that film. Critics and audiences in cities showered their love on the film. At the song launch Alia said that love is universal. When asked about what love means to her, Alia said “Honestly for me the meaning of love changes everyday. And it doesn’t mean just between lovers. Love I think is universal, between cats, friends. Today my definition of love is Dear Zindagi
.” We totally agree with you, Alia. Dear Zindagi turned out to become one of the most successful films of 2016. Alia and Shah Rukh's refreshing chemistry was much looked forward to, and they exceeded our expectations in the film. Helmed by Gauri Shinde, Dear Zindagi managed to collect over Rs 57 crore within 10 days of its release at the box office.
