Shakti Arora and Neha Saxena are finally married. They got married on April 6 in a hush-hush ceremony attended only by family and friends. It has been a relationship of more than eight years for the couple who first met on the sets of the show, Tere Liye. They weren't friends at first but slowly warmed upto each other. Soon, rumours surfaced that they were a couple. It seems when Shakti met Neha for the first time he was nursing a broken heart, which is why he took some time to get into the dating phase. Over the years, the couple have been quite steady but rumours of them already getting married two years back and splitting briefly in 2017 did the rounds. Incidentally, rumours of them being already married have been doing the rounds since then. Commenting on it, Shakti told Bombay Times, "I can’t change that because being public figures, we are bound to be judged and speculated upon all the time.” They were supposed to get married in November 2016 but demonetisation made them shift their plans. The couple, till recently, maintained that they were focusing on their careers. Shakti shared a lovely snap of them on Instagram where they looked gorgeous in their wedding finery. Shakti wore a red sherwani with a maroon top while Neha opted for a red lehenga choli with lot of kundan jewellery. The love on their face was unmissable. They got engaged in 2014.
Last year, there were rumours of them having a huge fight when Shakti was away in Indonesia exploring job opportunities. Buzz was that they had broken up. However, Neha, who was with him, said she left the country as her visa had expired. Later, they put all rumours to rest by posting a snap on Instagram. Talking about being a married man, Shakti told Bombay Times, "The feeling is yet to sink in and I don’t feel like a married man yet. Abhi tak kuch samajh nahi aa raha, but it’s a nice feeling.” It seems they will romance in the unexplored and stunning locales of Norway.
On April 6, they had a small haldi ceremony at home followed by saat pheras in the evening. This is the third hush-hush wedding of the year after Gaurav Chopra - Hitisha Cheranda and Keith Sequeira - Rochelle Maria Rao. Stay tuned to BL for more scoop and updates....
