One day to go for the much awaited - The Ghazi Attack. It's the first war at sea film in Indian cinema starring Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Kay Kay Menon and Atul Kulkarni. Bollywoodlife got a chance to meet up with the intriguing cast and talk to them at length about this unusual movie. While talking with Rana Daggubati and Taapsee Pannu, Bollywoodlife found out that Taapsee Pannu wanted to play another role. Yes, that's right! So how did we find out? When Bollywoodlife asked them what their first thoughts were when The Ghazi Attack was read out to you, Taapsee said this - " I was wondering why I couldn't be the naval officer." There! As for Rana, he was instrumental in the making of The Ghazi Attack. He has been part of this movie right from when it was a small yet powerful idea. He then goes on to tell us, how each version of the script got better and that it was exciting to be part of this unique project. He also reveals the reason he was The Ghazi Attack. It narrates a true event that took place just before the 1971 Indo-Pak war broke out. PNS Ghazi had set out to destroy India's aircraft carrier - INS Vikrant, to clear the way for East Pakistan. That's when the Indian Navy was intercepted of this mission and they sent a submarine, S-21 to navigate that area. The movie then follows these two submarines to find out what happens in this classified war at sea. Bollywoodlife got a chance to meet.
