The film industry is still trying to come to terms with the untimely demise of veteran actor Sridevi. Ever since the news of her death, social media has been flooded with condolence messages and tributes to India's first female superstar. The world of cinema won;t be the same again as we have lost of its biggest icons. But we couldn't help but notice the bizarre connection the late veteran actor shared with another actor, who went on to become one of the biggest politicians. The latter in question is Jayalalithaa. Turns out Sridevi passed away on the day Jayalalithaa's was born! In fact, when Jayalalithaa died, Sridevi shared a special memory of her shooting experience with her.
The two had starred in a movie titled - Aathi Parasakthi. . While Jayalalithaa played goddess Sakthi, Sridevi played Lord Murugan. "The most articulate dignified,cultured & caring lady, lucky to have worked with her. I Along with millions of our people will miss her." the actress had mentioned back then. To think these two icons will always share this strange connection. This was the not only coincidence around Sridevi's death. Turns out, she passed away a day before Divya Bharti's birth anniversary. Sridevi in fact replaced the actress in Ladlaa due to her untimely demise.
On 24th February, Sridevi breathed her last, Initial reports stated cardiac arrest, but the latest updates states the cause of death was accidental drowning. As per reports, traces of alcohol was also found in her system. Speculations are doing the rounds that she may have fallen into the bathtub. The actress is survived by her husband, Boney Kapoor and her two daughters - Jhanvi Kapoor and kHushi Kapoor.
