Dil Dhadakne Do box office collection: Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh's film earns Rs 61.90 crore!

Dil Dhadakne Do starring Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar and Rahul Bose is in its second week but its still getting cash registers jingling. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, this big budget multi-starrer hit the screens on June 5 and since then it has managed to pull in crowd to the cinema halls and has raked in good money. In fact, on Friday Mohit Suri's much-awaited intense love story Hamari Adhuri Kahani featuring Emraan Hashmi, Vidya Balan and Rajkummar Rao made its way to the theatres but the film hardly affected the collections of DDD which is said to be the most stylish film of this year.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the updated figures of Dil Dhadakne Do a while back. He wrote on the popular social networking site Twitter, "#DilDhadakneDo witnesses good growth on Sat. [Week 2] Fri 2.27 cr, Sat 3.53 cr. Total - 61.90 cr. India biz."

Trade portal Boxofficeindia reported, "The film is probably heading for lifetime business in the range of 80 crore nett. It may do a little more if it can survive after the release of ABCD 2 as then it will hang around in theatres till the release of Bajrangi Bhaijaan due to a weak flow of releases."

Since Hamari Adhuri Kahani hasn't packed a solid punch at the box office, its very much likely that Priyanka and Ranveer starrer will continue its good run at the box office!
