After the amaze balls that was the title track, the makers of Dil Dhadakne Do are out with yet another foot-tapping number that features Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah and Rahul Bose. Voiced by Sukhwinder Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, Farhan Akhtar among others, Gallan goodiyaan is an upbeat Punjabi number. The words are by Javed Akhtar and the music is by Shankar Ehsaan Loy.

Given the name, I was expecting a typical Punjabi song with dhol beats and so was a little disappointed at first. But once I got past the initial disappointment, the song actually sounded good. What kept me hooked to the song, more than the music or lyrics, is the enthusiasm of the actors. The high energy performances by Ranveer, Priyanka and Farhan will definitely make you want to join them and Anil Kapoor's eye-to-eye smile cannot fail to make you smile as well. It's like their enthusiasm is infectious and before you know it, you are singing and dancing along!
