Yet another song from Dil Dhadakne Do is out and in this one you will get to Ms Chopra and Ms Sharma kicking up their heels...
Zoya Akhtar's much-awaited directorial Dil Dhadakne Do is going to hit the theatres next month. However, this eccentric family drama starring Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar, Rahul Bose and Shefali Shah is making the wait harder with each passing day. First the trailer went viral on the internet and now the film's songs are creating immense buzz. The latest track which is out from DDD is titled Girls Like To Swing and mainly features Virat Kohli's lady love. Sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, this peppy jazz number has been composed by musical trio Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa. And I must say that they have done a fine job in coming up with a jazz number which is hummable and catchy. Personally, I am not a big fan of jazz genre but this one is indeed a good hear. Here's why...
Upbeat music, fun lyrics and cute choreography!
I have to give credit Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy for composing a jazz number which isn't too hard to like. The upbeat music will keep you hooked to the song till the very end and though you may not like it at the first go, hear it again and it will grow on you. Usually, the jazz numbers have sort of boring lyrics but that's not the case with this one. For sure, Girls Like To Swing is a much better jazz number than any of the Bombay Velvet tracks. At least for me it is! Also, what makes this song a visual delight is its cute choreography. In fact, you can pick up a step or two from the song and show it off the next time you're on stage. Not to forget, the he English part in-between is super addictive. Hear the song and you'll know what I am trying to say.
Priyanka Chopra is too hot in this jazz number!
Though you'll get to see Ms Chopra only after a minute or so and that too for 30 odd seconds, she nails the song with her sexy presence and cool moves. Check out her attitude when she mouths the line 'Girls like to swing.' Its just so kick-ass. Also, I love how she and Anushka shake a leg together in this song. Their warm camaraderie is quite visible.
So guys what are you waiting for? Check out the below video and all girls out there - don't forget we like to swing...wink wink!
