Dipika Kakar to return to TV post marriage, with Vivek Dahiya-Karishma Tanna starrer Qayamat Ki Raat

Fans can rejoice now, as Dipika Kakar is soon going set the screen on fire

Recently, Pankhuri Awasthy started making headlines for bagging her first project after marriage to Gautam Rode. Now, another name is making headlines to make a comeback. Telly actress Dipika Kakar, who is soon going to make her Bollywood debut with JP Dutta's Paltan, is going to star in Ekta Kapoor's upcoming supernatural show, Qayamat Ki Raat. The actress tied the knot with Shoaib Ibrahim on February 22 this year. Soon after, Shoaib joined Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey replacing Krip Suri. But Dipika was missing from action for some time now. However, fans can rejoice now, as the actress is soon going set the screen on fire. The show is going to have a number of popular faces. While Karishma Tanna, Vivek Dahiya are already roped in for it, Dipika is one of the new names that is doing the rounds lately. Speaking about it to TOI, a source said, “Earlier, Madhurima Tuli was finalised for the role, but due to her date issues, Dipika has been roped in.” Though Dipika has not confirmed anything yet, seeing the actress on the small screen after her marriage will surely be a treat for everyone.

Previously, before Karishma, Asmita Sood's name was associated with the show, but things changed eventually. When Karishma was asked about it, she said, “I don’t know anything about whether I am replacing someone or not. But yes, I am in talks, but things haven’t been finalised yet.” On the other hand, Asmita said, “Honestly, I have no idea about this. I was in talks with the production house, but it has been a while, since we have communicated.
