The actress' double role in the upcoming horror flick has created a lot of buzz. Read on to find out how it was created....
Panorama Studio's upcoming horror film Alone starring Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover is being talked about for it's unique story centred around conjoined sisters. So how was effect created?
We hear that VFX creator Soumen Das' brief from Director Bhushan Patel's Alone was to create a prosthetic layer for the conjoined twins at the hip and also ensure they are bodily attached in a realistic manner in the scenes they appear together. When we quizzed Soumen about the detailing which went into the making of the two Bipasha's, he said, "Since Bipasha had to play both the sisters and we had to make them both appear in one frame as conjoined, a composite merging process was used that combined live footage from the sets and computer generated images. The process took approximately 7 months as there were complex scenes and we are quite elated with the end result. I am sure the audiences will be intrigued and also thrilled when they get to watch the film."
Slated to release on January 16, 2015, Alone is a horror love story about conjoined twins; something which has never been explored in Bollywood before. The film is produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Pradeep Agarwal and Prashant Sharma. Directed by Bhushan Patel, the film promises to be a must watch. What do you think BollywoodLifers, will it be as good as the trailer professes it to be?
