It was a given! If you have seen Doctor Strange, the Marvel superhero movie that blew our minds away with some mind-boggling special effects, and were smart enough to wait till the end credits, you would have seen (SPOILER ALERT) Thor meeting up with Strange on Earth to discuss about his missing father. Apparently Odin, the Asgardian king and Thor's father, have gone missing since the events of Thor: The Dark World, and is said to have taken refuge on Earth. So Thor and Loki, his evil half-brother, have come down to Earth to find Odin, and Thor for some strange reason, meets with Doctor Strange to find out about his father's whereabouts.
The scene was played like it was part of Thor's third solo venture, Thor: Ragnarok, that's coming up in November, so there were speculations that Doctor Strange will appear in the movie, along with The Hulk, who was already confirmed to team up with Thor. Now Disney's official fan club site D23 has confirmed this fact, as their site's updated description of the movie reads like this - 'Thor: Ragnarok in November brings together Thor, the Hulk, and Doctor Strange to face off against intergalactic baddies both familiar and new.'
So that means Thor: Ragnarok will team up all those superheroes who missed out on the action in Captain America: Civil War, making it a very exciting movie to watch out for. This will also be the first time Benedict Cumberbatch's Sorcerer Supreme will be teaming up with any Avenger. Chris Hemsworth will of course, play Thor, while Mark Ruffalo will return to play Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Tom Hiddleston and Anthony Hopkins will also reprise their roles of Loki and Odin respectively. The new players in town (or rather, Asgard) will be Cate Blanchett who plays the antagonist Hela, Jeff Goldblum as the Grand-Master, Tessa Thompson who will play warrior Valkyrie and Thor's potential love interest and Karl Urban as Skurge.
The movie is directed by Taika Waititi.
