A portal had conducted a poll story wherein they asked to vote between Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone in black haute couture ensembles as to who wore it better. The picture consists of Priyanka's latest Vogue cover shoot and the portal stated that it reminded them of Deepika Padukone's old photoshoot, leading them to do a poll story. Seeing the poll, the Desi Girl's mother, Madhu Chopra wasn't happy. She took a dig at the portal that compared the two contemporaries in the world of entertainment. Madhu Chopra lashed out saying, "Only a blind will think they are wearing same@outfit. Besides Pri always carries Haute couture better." This statement from the global icon's mother has received varied responses. Some have cheered Priyanka Chopra Jonas' mother for taking a stand against the comparison while some feel that moms shouldn't interfere. Some have lauded Madhu Chopra for calling spade a spade. TBH, the outfits are different. And there's a high chance that The Sky Is Pink actress' mother was not slamming Deepika Padukone but rather the portal. Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone have worked together in Bajirao Mastani. Priyanka had even made a special song appearance in Ranveer Singh and Deepika starter Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ramleela.
