Popular telly actress Dipika Kakar recently announced the return of supernatural drama, Sasural Simar Ka season 2. Well, it's a piece of great news for the fans who have been waiting to see Dipika back on the small screen. The pretty actress shared the promo of her upcoming show on her Instagram and gave the first glimpse of her character to all the audiences. Dipika captioned the promo video as 'Simar is a part of me that has always been alive in me for all these years & here today she is ready once again to make her way to your hearts....Are you ready...Lets create magic again'. Talking about the video, Dipika greets everyone 'Jai Mata Di' at the start of the promo in Simar's style. She tells all her fans that she is coming back because of their love that they gave her through these years. She was even seen saying that soon a new face will be seen on the show.
Within no time, the promo of Sasural Simar Ka 2 went viral and fans expressed their excitement about the upcoming show. One fan wrote, "Wow can't wait Dipi di," while the other wrote, "Shoaib sir bhi he show me? We want both of you."
Talking about her character Dipika said that Simar has always been a part of her life and will stay with her. She got overwhelmed and thanked the makers for allowing her to make her acting journey. She further thanked them for a show wherein she met the love of her life.
In the upcoming season of Sasural Simar Ka, fans will get to see a new avatar of Simar wherein she will deal with new challenges in her way.
Sasural Simar Ka was launched in April 2011 and ran for eight years. The show went off the air on March 2, 2018. Apart from Dipika, her husband Shoaib played the role of Prem in the show. The fans loved Dipika and Shoaib's jodi as Simar and Prem. Moreover, the show always topped the TRP charts with its unique storyline and plot. The show revolved around Simar and Roli's lives.
On the work front, Dipika had quit the Sasural Simar Ka in 2017 and was replaced by Keerti Kelkar. She was then seen in Bigg Boss 12 and Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum.
