The Kai Po Che actor's latest outing has garnered a lot of appreciation form the critics and fans...
But here are some mistakes that Dibakar Banerjee made Sushant Singh Rajput commit in Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! The movie is keeping it slow but steady pace at the box office, which is a good news for a genre which hardly saw any success in India. Critics have been very favourable towards it but the film has its share of unfortunate and disappointing flaws which questions Dibakar Banerjee's eye for details.
The film has many continuity jerks which even a common man, without any technical knowledge of cinema, can easily spot. Like when Byomkesh decides to take up Ajit's case of missing father, they meet at a tea shop. Ajit's hand and cup synergy is at flaw at every shot. Next when they dig through Ajit's father's suitcase, Sushant Singh Rajput's sitting posture is different at different angles even though he is sitting on the same place, delivering the same dialogues.
If that's not enough, a scene where Swastika Mukherjee, who plays a temptress Angoori Devi in the film, is seen singing a boul song from Bengal, her lips are not in sync with the song. Such instances of faulty lip syncing are plenty in this movie.
I wonder if a bigger production and higher stakes made Dibakar Banerjee lose attention for details. Guess small is always a big deal for him!
