Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, who are currently shooting for their upcoming venture, Stree, seem to be having a gala time on the sets of the film. After wrapping up a day's work, the actors make the most of their evenings by chilling with the cast and crew of the film. On one such instance, they were caught jamming on Shah Rukh Khan's song, Dil Se, and we are sure that every Bollywood fan will relate to it. Don't we all break into a song all of a sudden when the going gets tough. Oh well, we do.
Coming back to Stree, which is reported to be a horror-comedy, is written by Raj and DK, who are known for films like Shor in the City, Go Goa Gone, Happy Ending and A Gentleman. Helmed by Amar Kaushik, Stree is being backed by Maddock Films, jointly produced by Dinesh Vijan and Raj and DK. The film is based on an urban legend, set in a small village, Chanderi in Bhopal. Music-composer duo Sachin-Jigar have scored the album. This is the first time that Rajkummar and Shraddha are sharing sharing screen space. And if their chemistry in the video is anything to go by, they will be superb in the film too. Stree is expected to hit theatres in mid-2018.
On the professional front, Rajkummar Rao has an interesting line-up of films, which includes Hansal Mehta's Omerta and director Atul Manjrekar's Fanne Khan, which also features Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in key roles. On the other hand, Shraddha Kapoor will be seen opposite Baahubali's Prabhas in the multi-lingual film, Saaho. Apart from that she will step into the shoes of badminton legend Saina Nehwal for her biopic.
