Of late, we have seen TV stars like Ravi Dubey and Benafsha Soonawalla delivering speeches at Ted X. One of the recent ones to do so is Rithvik Dhanjani. He was invited by Ted X recently where he spoke about his struggle before making a name for himself in the industry. As we know, Rithvik hails from a middle class family and spent his early days in Dubai. While giving a chat, Rithvik spoke about the times that made him a strong individual. "It had taken me around a good three years to convince my father to give me a chance to go to Mumbai and try my hand at acting. I came to Mumbai with just 5,000 rupee a month allowance. After staying at a friend's place for two months without paying rent, one day suddenly auntie asked me to start paying rent from the following month. With hardly any money in my pocket, I was left in a dilemma. What added to it was that I was locked out of the house that night and hence walking towards the station. I was sitting at a railway station at 3 AM in the morning, at rock bottom when I called my childhood friend Jayesh."
The actor elaborates how his friend's pep talk inspired him to survive in this world. He said, "That day what he told me was so so so important for me at that time. I realized the true power of words! Jayesh said every actor's journey starts from the footpath, and after a few years when I am bigger and in a good place, I definitely will have this story to tell! That just ignited the fire I had in me! And now here I am, narrating this story to all of you on this platform." We are sure that many struggling actors will identify with what Rithvik said on the platform. Stay tuned to Bollywood Life for more scoop and updates!
