Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor made their Bollywood debut together with Karan Johar produced Dhadak. KJo introduced these two millennials in the film industry with the Shashank Khaitan's directorial, which was an official remake of Nagraj Manjule's Marathi blockbuster movie, Sairat. After the release of Dhadak in 2018, Ishaan and Janhvi were welcomed with open arms by the audience and they still continue to receive love from fans. Technically speaking, the Khatter boy's first film was Beyond The Clouds but Dhadak is considered as his first commercial B-town film. While that is that, Ishaan and Janhvi off-screen chemistry was much talked about, thanks to their adorable public outings.
Ishaan and Janhvi were rumoured to be dating for a long time. However, the duo refuted these rumours and stated they are just 'good friends'. Their on-screen romance in Dhadak was a huge hit and their and off-screen chemistry has also received a major thumbs-up. In Rooh Afza, Janhvi will share the frame with Rajkummar Rao and reportedly has a double role. And with Karan’s directorial Takht, Janhvi will be seen alongside Bollywood heavyweights, Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
