After Shaheer Sheikh, one of the Indian TV actors who is getting a lot of love in Indonesia is Shakti Arora. He has been in the island country for more than eight months now. The actor's next project is an Indonesian horror film. It also stars the lovely Zaskia Gotix. Talking EXCLUSIVELY to Bollywood Life, he said, "I am now shooting for an horror film with Zaskia. I have completed half of the shoot and now only 10 days are remaining. It is an out and out horror film on the lines of The Conjuring. It deals with demonic possession and how a couple struggles."
When we asked him about his alleged link-up with Zaskia a few months back, he said, "Hahahaha...it is quite funny. If an actor manages to look lovingly into his co-star's eyes, people feel it is something special. I tell everyone I am an actor and I will romance even a pole if need be." Shakti also spoke about how the work in Indonesia was as exhausting as that in India. "We work more than 15 hours on a regular basis. The scenes are shot in the islands in and around Jakarta. Travelling itself takes five hours on a daily basis," he says.
After working in the TV industry for close to 13 years, Shakti earned immense fame as Ranveer Vaghela from Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi. His earnest portrayal of a devoted lover earned him legions of fans in India and Indonesia. The show is one of the most watched serials there.
