The last time Prabhudheva and Salman Khan came together was in 2009 for Wanted. The movie was the remake of the Telugu film Pokiri. It was this movie that gave a new lease of life to Salman Khan's career. After Wanted became a blockbuster hit, there was no looking back for the superstar. And now eight years later, this duo is reuniting for one of the biggest projects to come - Dabangg 3! It was last month that Prabhudheva confirmed the news about helming this hardcore commercial actioner. With Salman Khan returning as Chulbul Pandey in a whole new plot, we can't keep calm. And guess what? Bollywoodlife met up with Prabhudheva recently and we asked him about Dabanngg 3!
Unfortunately the actor stated that it "too early to talk about it". When we pressed him further, he didn't budge. That's when we asked him to talk about Salman Khan himself. "He's an original, he's really cool. Confident, chilled out guy" came the reply. Seems like it was easier for Prabhudheva to talk about Salman Khan than Dabangg 3! Whatever it be we are very excited about this collaboration. Also Read: Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 to go on floors in mid-2018, confirms Arbaaz Khan
In other news, Prabhudheva will soon be seen in an upcoming Tamil thriller - Mercury. It's a no language film releasing in all languages on April 13th. The project is directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The intriguing teaser has caught everyone's attention thanks to its rich cinematography, haunting background score, and Prabhudheva in an eerie avatar. While the film's Tamil version will not release on April 13th owing to the strike, the movie will see a release in other languages. Can't wait to find out what the noise is all about around this silent film.
