The final terrifying trailer of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was released last night. While a section of ardent fans of the franchise have loved the trailer, a big majority cannot stop pointing out the glaring similarity with one of the previous films.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom final trailer has made big revelations about the plot of the film. The previous two trailers misled the audience that the movie will be about rescuing dinosaurs from being burnt to a crisp after a dormant volcano on Isla Nublar becomes active. But the new trailer reveals that the plot is way more cynical than that. Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt realise that the organisation, for whom they were working to save the dinosaurs, has tricked them and plans to auction the dinosaurs. Rings a bell?
The plot has eerie similarities to Jurassic World: The Lost World, not to remind you of Jeff Goldblum's return to the franchise with the latest film. In the old film, a bunch of folks return to the island (just like the new film) under the pretext of trying to save the dinosaurs (like the new one) only to realise they have been fooled (you get it, right?). Also, the big bad dino wrecks havoc in the city (this is embarrassing now). Fans have picked up on the similarities and are talking about it on Twitter. Check out a few tweets here:
We are sure that there will be way more to the plot than the similarities that are being pointed out. But we can't deny the existence of these previously used plot points.
Let us not forget that Jurassic World also had similarities to Jurassic Park. Both the films were about trying to rescue two kids lost in the jungle after a ride gone wrong. And also, in both the films, a bigger dinosaur saves humans from a smaller dinosaur.
